Safety & Privacy
Conversation before category only works if people feel safe enough to be honest. This page explains exactly what is protected, what is stored, and what this space is not.
Human Connection is a closed internal prototype. Access is granted by Rewiring Minds one account at a time while safety, moderation and translation are observed in real use.
Anonymity is structural
There is no field in this system for your name, photo, age, gender, religion, politics, nationality, occupation, income, or education level. Nothing that does not exist can be leaked or used to sort you.
You receive a neutral handle such as Participant 7-Amber. Matching uses interests you choose — music, cooking, gardening, teaching — never identity.
Anonymous to each other, accountable to the system
A signed-in account is required. The other participant never sees anything about you beyond your handle and what you write.
Rewiring Minds keeps the minimum link needed to act on a report of harassment. That link is used for moderation only — never to reveal one participant to another, and never for advertising or profiling.
Reveal only by mutual consent
Either person may send a Reveal Request. It can only ask for a short, fixed list of details, and nothing is shared unless both people accept.
Declining is a complete and normal answer. It carries no penalty and needs no explanation.

Reporting and blocking
Report anything that frightens, degrades, or targets you. Reports are read by a person, not resolved by a score.
Filing a report blocks that participant from ever being matched with you again — immediately, without waiting for a review.
Contact details, links, and phone numbers are refused inside messages, so no one can be pushed off-platform before trust exists.
Translation you can check
You write in your language; the other person reads in theirs. Translation is done on request and cached so the same message is not re-processed.
Every translated message keeps a view-original option. Translation is a bridge, not a rewrite — if the tone feels wrong, you can always see the words the person actually chose.
Limited retention
Conversation content is kept only as long as the prototype needs it to investigate reports and improve safety, then removed.
Reflections are stored separately from conversations and are read as anonymous aggregates — counts and averages, not transcripts attached to a person.
Adults only
You must confirm you are 18 or older before you can send anything. Accounts that misrepresent this are removed from the prototype.
What this is not
Human Connection is educational. It is not counselling, therapy, medical or legal advice, or a crisis service. If you or someone you are talking to may be in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country straight away — and please leave the conversation to do so.
House rules

- — Speak to the person, not to a category. Curiosity is welcome; verdicts are not.
- — Leaving is always one tap, always allowed, and never explained.
